1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Prepd, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Prepd is a mobile application designed to help users prepare for finance and investment banking interviews through:

• Practice questions and flashcards
• Study decks and learning materials
• Progress tracking and statistics
• Social features including challenges with friends
• Leagues and competitive learning

3. User Accounts

To use Prepd, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Share inappropriate or offensive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service
• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use automated systems to access the service

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Prepd, including but not limited to questions, explanations, graphics, and software, is owned by Prepd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

6. User-Generated Content

When you create content (such as custom decks), you retain ownership but grant Prepd a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content within the service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party rights.

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Prepd offers auto-renewable subscription plans (Basic, Premium, and Expert) that provide access to additional features and content. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Renewal Pricing: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price as the initial subscription.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, unused portions are forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
• No Refunds: Refunds for subscriptions are subject to Apple's refund policy.

Subscription plans and pricing:

• Basic: $1.99/week or $4.99/month — 2 sessions/day, 2 challenges/day, 2 decks
• Premium: $3.49/week or $8.99/month — 5 sessions/day, 5 challenges/day, 5 decks
• Expert: $5.99/week or $14.99/month — Unlimited sessions, challenges, and decks

8. Promotional Codes

Prepd may offer promotional codes that provide discounts on subscription plans. Promotional codes are subject to their specific terms, including expiration dates and usage limits. Prepd reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotional codes at any time.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Cancellation of a subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

10. Disclaimers

Prepd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• That using Prepd will result in job offers or interview success
• The accuracy of all questions and answers (though we strive for excellence)

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prepd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Prepd operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
